During the war the Crookston was home to UK, US & Polish forces, including a large military field hospital & ordenance store.

Gaelic shapes the landscape around Crookston Castle and is a living language across our communities, were proud to join in the celebrations this week.

A huge thank you to the 11 volunteers who came along to our litter pick, helping clear the hillside, Castle path, neighbouring streets, and the grass verges along Brockburn Road.
Days like this really help keep the area looking its best for everyone who lives nearby and those who comes to visit.

The grant we received from the Castle Studies Trust has opened up so many opportunities for our communityβfrom new research and volunteers to schools events.
Weβd highly recommend other groups apply, itβs a fantastic way to unlock fresh discoveries and bring people closer to their heritage.
Medieval show at Crookston Castle in Glasgow. They expected 300 people, they got 900! Busy, but lots of interested members of the public asking lots of interesting questions. Thanks to Friends of Crookston Castle and the Company of St Margaret for the invite.
