paying $13,000 for a speech about austerity that nobody can remember

showing up for free, saying services are good, ending on “tax me daddy”
surely firing all the wildlife division workers from DNR and replacing them with His Own Guys has nothing to do with gearing up to win a legal battle against the Mi'kmaw chiefs who he refuses to consult with about the fracking and uranium mining right

Got to love that the mayor of Halifax is using a poll from an attack ad paid by landlords to inform him on what to cut, on a social media site that bans canadians from accessing and sharing news and no longer does fact checking, and the ad allows anyone to sign up lol
*crawls out of my hole* Hey........ * crawls back in*
let’s be primitive horses with mama
"The defence contractor Roshel, based in Brampton, Ont., has a $10 million contract to build 20 armoured vehicles for ICE."
Roshel was one of the companies that bid on the armoured vehicle for Halifax Regional Police.
Please unleash gritty on ICE with full immunity
It can get lower!
Yeah, at least Hasan fucking goes out and stands for what he says. Asmongold is just a crusty lump in his dirty house.
brass solidarity band performing “stand by me” in the streets of whittier next to alex pretti’s memorial. the crowd started chanting “the people united will never be defeated” so they incorporated it into the song. i love minneapolis
Two drawings and two small photos of the cat, Pyaari. The drawing on the left is wearing a blue dupatta. The drawing on the right is in a gold sari with a dupatta on the head.
Pyaari is so decent 🥺
Mark Boudreau is the CPC candidate for Halifax, he is a corporate executive of Loblaws of 11 years.
Here's a reason for us to get out and VOTE locally here in Halifax, because the guy running for the Halifax MP seat for the Conservatives is a former Loblaws Corporate Executive of 11 years, Mark Boudreau.
Please Vote y'all, we don't need a corporate executive managing us.

Now that federal elections are confirmed for the end of April I DESPERATELY need all Canadians here to understand one thing
You DO NOT need a voter card to vote.
Register in advance online, check where your riding's polling station is (available April 1st), and vote. EVEN IF YOU DON'T GET THE CARD
The Canadian federal election has been called for April 28th, get out there and VOTE!!!
Advance polls will be open April 18 thru 21. You can also vote at any Elections Canada office once they’re open, or apply online for a mail in ballot. www.elections.ca
The police budget went up, of course.
Imagine if Hillary Clinton had done this.
Man. Not feeling great about a lot of stuff right now.
People are really angry about the Houston government’s power grab www.halifaxexaminer.ca/dismantling-... by @dartjenhen.bsky.social

Today, Halifax Regional Council voted to fund a 24/7 Community Crisis Diversion Pilot Service that will divert crisis calls away from police, priorizing the needs & safety of people in crisis.
This is a big step for our community that has taken several years of advocacy at multiple levels. Yay!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OWq... last week was the 10-year(!) anniversary of Jailbreak, the episode of Steven Universe that turned the whole show on its head and came out swinging with gay space rocks fighting facism and winning!
Charlie Angus MP officially warns and advises Canadians against travelling to the United States. masterful gambit mr trump.
I'm at whatever it is they call the Law Amendments Committee now, listening to the public speak to the Houston government's various bills. About half the speakers have used the phrase "what's happening south of the border" to describe Houston's actions.
I'm thinking that as part of Canada's resistance to Trump, we should invite US scientists Trump is defunding to come work here, and create a big pot of money for them to do their work. We'd benefit from just the science, but also all the economic benefits of patents, products, etc.
