American traditional, neotrad and irezumi are all faves of mine. The bright bold colors of trad and neotrad are so cool and when done well they can last forever with minimal touch ups. I’ve been going down the rabbit hole of methods for tattooing and the hand poked nature of irezumi is fascinating

I live in an unincorporated area (which does not have a library) so I had to go to the city to get one but ig the unincorporated area I live in voted against having our tax dollars go towards public libraries I’d have to pay $100 for a card 🫠 tldr I didn’t pay the library tax so I get no library

I can’t speak for all credit unions but I’ve only ever had an account with one rather than a bank and they’ve always been chill. The one time my card got compromised and I overdrafted they didn’t charge me an overdraft fee which was nice. They also tend to be way less corporate which is a bonus

The only thing I could think of is trying one from a department/big box store like Walmart, Target or Walgreens (I’m unsure what the UK versions of these would be sadly) bc they tend to be a bit cheaper and I’ve found since these aren’t art supply stores the paper is a little less toothy than usual

Alt text is helpful for the obvious accessibility reasons but sometimes I’m looking at an image and I have no clue what I’m looking at so I’m like a shred of context would be nice

I do my best to provide alt text most of the time when I upload images here and I don’t think my descriptions are anything fancy but my god does it bother me when I read an alt text and it’s just “an illustration of two figures”. Like, tell me what they’re doing!
