I wish I could say there's always another job, but I live in such a small rural place and my car is not in the best shape right now so I can't drive 45mins-1hr for more entry level jobs. I really only have 2-3 options here and I hope I get chosen by one.
Obviously I'll do my job, I'll work as hard as I'm physically able to. But I'm not going to take someone's shift or do overtime without compensation. Which, is different than doing freelance. I don't get the pleasure of being paid more if something takes longer, or I add work to a piece.
But I feel like, the tiny voice in my head also knows it's not true. I literally went to college, I have an associates and I graduated with a 4.0+ gpa. I don't know if I'll be comfortable doing the bare minimum. But I also know I won't extend myself unless I'm going to be paid for it.
I think I've just heard so many horror stories of people making mistakes and being fired overnight for it. I have no real issue being personable or trying to learn new skills. I have the fear of not being good enough or making mistakes, and I fear I am too stupid for things.
I'm awful with names until I've seen people a few times. But I'm very inviting, helpful and worked hard when I was in school. I have no experience working on a register or doing stock or labels like that. I don't even know how paystubs work. I'm just so inexperienced and embarrassed.
I'm a pretty personable person, I can be friends with most everyone. I wear my mask pretty well in public and I'm very overly polite and smile even at strangers and kids. I think... I'm just scared I'll make mistakes over and over. And I'll get fired before I even start.
I know I'm acting like a child. But can people please give me advice? Encouragement? I'm scared and I want to live.

I don't want to do that. I hate when I feel like this. I feel stuck and unmotivated and lost. My brain keeps screaming how hard is it to just draw what you have laid out? And I don't have an answer anymore. It's not hard. I shouldn't be taking this long. I shouldn't be this... lost.
I had a pretty bad panic attack Monday. One of my worse ones I had like when I was in my early 20s that I needed xanax for. I need to get stuff done, I need to make money to survive and all my brain wants me to do is shut down and stare at a wall.
Just letting people know I just haven't been in the right mindset lately with my work. I don't really know what's wrong with me or why a piece is taking 6-8hrs when it usually takes me 2-3hrs for a flat bust. IDK what's wrong with me lately.

That is true! I have fully charged cord free heating pads for my beardie and my boyfriends chameleon and my frog. But the cats and I will just have to snuggle under 10 blankets. 😅
I'm going to try to! I did a little grocery shopping yesterday when I got my meds so I have a few canned things that I can eat (like a heathen, I eat SpaghettiOs cold lol). Staying warm might be an issue, but I'll try and keep everyone warm!
On macrobid and I'm already starting to feel better. I was able to sleep 8hrs last night and I didn't get up every 2hrs to pee. 😩 I'm still in pain but it's more numb and less heavy pressure. I think I'll be able to work today thankfully.
Also, I'm in North Carolina. 😣🙏 Pray for me this weekend.
Dr called back and said I will probably have to go in for a culture at the hospital before meds. It wouldn't bother me if my car wasn't in such a state lately. Ugh but if it's what needs to be done to be able to work again so be it. What a pain. 😮💨 Just hope it doesn't break down or pop the donut.
I've tried the AZO pills but they don't do much, I don't know if it's because my urinary tract is odd because I've never experienced burning, just pressure and urgency. It's so odd. I'll try chugging water as well!
