I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

I think it'd be cool if we had a larger discussion on the direction of conventions in NA- how expensive they are, how little artists make back, how much artists have to put in to even get accepted- And let's not forget how ridiculous the expectations are for presentation and merchandise with tables.

GUESS WHAT? Go on, guess. It's Xena & Callisto again, you may remember them from other such posts of mine like, 'Xena x Callisto,' & the surprise sequel, 'More Xena x Callisto,' plus more. It's the one with Xena standing over Callisto telling her to stay down and Callisto is like, "Gladly <3" y'know, classic Callisto stuff.
