That’s pretty darn close to what my plan would be tbh. Not that I have a crystal ball….more than one way to do it.
I think can get both a solid WR and a cheap edge in this draft.
The hard part for me to solve is CB2

That’s my kind of factory!!!!!
It does stink. I think it’s justifiable to go light at edge cap dollars and pay Ojomo. But I doubt Howie looks at it that way.
It would be nice. I doubt they extend all 3 of him, JC, and JD. So Ojomo may be odd man out. He may be the next Milton Williams comp pick.
This is Ojomo’s last year. They unfortunately cannot 5th yr option him like they did w/JD.
Additionally, this lowers the 26 cap hit for Jordan Davis. And that was desperately needed just to create some Operating space for this season for things like injured reserve, and the practice squad.
Howie is more up against the cap than usual this year.

Jordan Davis extension:
1) cap keeps going up
2) DT value vs the cap and draft has also gone up (check out the nifty link here from @greghartpa.bsky.social )
3) Howie is fine with slight overpay now on the 3 yrs since 5th yr option provides a discount in ‘26

So many ways to do it. I’m leaning add 1-2 legit WRs in draft and use the strong role player depth at TE to fill out a TE room.
We haven’t had a legit WR3 in….

Screenshot pretending to add A.J. Brown as a muted word because I'm tired of hearing about these trade rumors
This is the way
Not sure what I’d do. I only watched two ‘25 games and did not feel like he was a 1st round TE.
He’s probably got a better floor than I initially thought. I knew he’d test like a freak, but not THAT freaky.
Solid move blocker. Explosive down field speed when has time to get rolling.
I turned off Dunker’s tape early. I might have been too harsh. But when I do that, it’s usually bad news for the prospect. Maybe he can be a solid NFL starter. But he’s not really Eagles’ type. And I thought there were better players at OT or G.
If it is a choice between only those two at 23, I personally would go McCoy so long as his pro day is not a disaster.
Unfortunately I won’t be at his pro day. So may have to trust the reporting of others.
Eagles would likely choose Proctor.
Luv ya LesBo!! Sometimes it’s hard to see when a player starts declining. Especially when it’s one that carried so much weight for the franchise.
Since you asked, one reason I would move on is the decline that seems to have begun. Maybe he bounces back. No crystal ball here.
Jermod McCoy looks talented. I am concerned by his lack of off man footwork. But I can understand if it isn’t developed yet given the scheme he was in. His long speed is concerning. But if he’s our CB2 then that’s probably nice. And I wonder if the lack of testing and injury drops him to 23.
I like Blake Miller at OT. Need to hit up his ‘24 tape, because in ‘25 he’s barely facing any NFL rushers and he is just too good for the competition.
I need to dive into speedy Brenen Thompson. At 1st glance he has some hands and ball tracking. When you combine that with his speed, he may be a nice field stretcher to open things up for Smitty and Papua New Guinea.
Fluffly dog laying on his back asleep with both bottom feet in the air
He’s exhausted from watching draft prospects with me.

Endries is weird. He looks physically unimpressive to me. And yet he will land 10 straight blocks and catch some really tough balls. And turn the corner on a wheel route.
I thought Endries blocked well on the move in the games I watched….maybe most consistent move blocker near LOS of that whole group.
Can’t really say I recall him doing much Y
I want to re-name him to Papua New Guinea, and I don’t exactly know why.
Hah Lane did same thing last year with Myles too I think I saw someone say. Geez Lane stop messing with us.
I don’t think AJ will automatically be a team cancer if he isn’t traded. It might be fine if he stays. And he might stay. But I highly doubt Howie or Lurie would have given the answers they have given if AJ wasn’t interested in a trade dating back to last year’s deadline.
Don’t you think given all the smoke that he is also interested in leaving? My guess he has an interest in a mew situation because he wants his future dollars guaranteed.

He’s very nimble and balanced. He can get under pads and give every ounce of strain while staying on his feet. By the time the DE wins, it’s a bit too late. Not sure you’d want him base blocking in line on the play side often. But he can help in diff ways.
I am not as high on him YET as you guys. But I respect his game and would not hate seeing him in Midnight.
Oh spunky was all me. I just remember you guys saying good things about him and wanted to give out props.

Can’t remember which one of you said it….I think maybe all of you…Oscar Delp is a spunky blocker. He grew on me the more I watched.
He’s good at “lose slowly” inside. And good on perimeter.
