Yeah I can agree with that. I dont know why someone would argue that Spiderverse isnt targeted at children honestly, even if an adult could watch and enjoy it. I did, children's movie doesnt equal bad movie every time, but thats what it its.
Id call it a "family" film, which is to say that its aimed firmly at kids but in ways adults will also enjoy rather than being bored or annoyed.

the cheese i understand even if it's gross in a bad way, the way they decided to render some of the toppings or backgrounds just arent things i can understand why a human would make those decisions
I'd honestly be okay with the other direction: if TPC isn't willing to allocate the resources the games need to be the AAA games they're clearly reaching to be in the switch era, then make games with simpler graphics. Make a cohesive game within their grasp instead of failing to exceed it.
I think the more detailed their graphics get, the weirder it feels that they don't have voice acting. I'm not sure where that line is but the switch games have been much closer to that line than the handheld ones. Maybe it's just because they also go on a TV? I dunno, it's a feeling not a measure.

My favorite thing about Granblue Fantasy's fighting game is that it gave you a beat em up mode with very similar controls that got harder over time in ways a non-1v1 game can, so you had reason to learn the characters better as you went.
It looks like it's designed with raised text in mind, without thought for what it'll look like as a flat image. I can see how that could work if the text pops out from the cover.
I do think a lot of the time people want to compare the best kids media to middle-of-the-road adult media, which most Seasonal TV Stuff is going to be. I'm not a good person to ask what tv shows aimed at adults are The Best, I haven't watched much TV in a long time, but they'd be better comparison.
I think it is very possible for an adult to get something out of well-made stuff for younger audiences, but for some reason lots of people arguing that use it to defend a diet of exclusively children's media, not that they enjoy some of it sometimes.

Yeah i feel like that crowd gets louder the less sex is in movies. when we legitimately have a peak in it, we just get "isnt it awkward" jokes but when its on a decline we get this. And like, itll rise and fall like any plot element, but its weird there's decrying when its at lows.

I used to do property inspection and people often ask me what the weirdest thing I saw was. "Shag Carpeted Bathroom" is usually up there, partly because I wasn't sent on the kinds of jobs where things would be really messed up, and partly because that's an abomination.
From what I've heard, it's a bit nauseating to watch, it likes to have a lot of bright, moving patterns on screen (and I mean multiple, moving in different ways and different colors), but the actual episodes themselves are fine, if you can get past that.
I read something - what isnt important - and I realized that a tiny aspect I found sweet about it was more resonant with me than the greater point of the thing, which was about a bad thing happening. It made it hit me in a way that hadn't before how cruel a world we live in. I want a sweeter world.
