In Vancouver, our full-sized downtown Costco has residential towers above & a skytrain station next door. LOTS of customers donβt drive to it.
We live a block from it. We call it βthe convenience store.β

Remember, whenever you hear that βspeed wasnβt a factorβ in a deadly crash, what they mean is that the car involved wasnβt technically speeding. At least βnot by much.β It presumes that the speed limit wasnβt too high to begin with.

How fast can potential reviewers decline requests to review? As quickly as you can make the requests. The peer review process needs change.
It's time to start a thread on higher ed budget cuts announced due to actual and potential cuts to federal funding. Northwestern is placing additional scrutiny on all spending and trying to cut non-personnel spending by 10% this year.
