From the sound of the sixth paragraph, they’re living their lives the way they want to, without much interference from anybody. So what’s the problem?
If their lives are way more important than money, then they should be happy, and I’d be happy for them. But they don’t sound happy.
Doug Emhoff publicly criticizes his law firm for coming to agreement with Trump administration:

“If you don’t know, I’m not going to tell you!”
Yeah, why pay people to protest when you can just pay people to vote in Wisconsin?
Don’t worry, I’m sure it’ll start trickling down any day now…
City views! In the heart of it all! Close to amenities! Where else will you find this combination of features, for just $800 per month?
I saw his headline but didn’t bother reading it, because I already knew that he is trying to convince himself more than anybody else.
Oh, I guess he’s right because he left Russia out of “across the board.”
Sometimes it’s as simple as “everything is arbitrary and nobody’s in charge”
That’s ok, it’s not like I’ve got anything to put in it
And reveal how weak he secretly feels, a secret he tries his hardest to keep from himself
$800 rent, huh? Must be one of those big, fancy cardboard boxes refrigerators come in, placed behind a Denny’s in Pahrump, Nevada.
It’s a cardboard box that a refrigerator came in, behind a Denny’s in Pahrump, Nevada
What’s to investigate? Children’s movie comes out. Purported grown man cries about it. I think that about covers it.
Hi, yes, we’re here to check on an edgy college freshman with a lot of “whoa, dude” pseudo-profound dorm room bong hit ideas. Can we speak to an [checks notes] Elon Musk, please?
Over on another channel, the Chiefs are doing the same thing
Wow, that is going on with that bass? Are those volume and tone control knobs sunk down into the body? I’ve never seen anything like this. What kind of bass is it?
Here’s a shot of one of the rooms. In 1874, this was a federal courtroom. It hasn’t changed much since then.
I think it’s nice! Here it is in the early 20th century
It should work, but he’s insulated by 17 layers of yes-men who are afraid of losing their jobs. So who’s going to be the one to declare this, where he’ll actually listen and heed?
The library I work at is a large, stone edifice built in 1874, with thick stone walls and two levels of basements. In a pinch, it wouldn’t take a whole lot to transform it into a fortress. Hey, plus we have a vending machine, and a fridge and microwave in the break room!
Maybe so. But I can’t help but think that at this point in his existence on this planet, there is nothing left to cause him to pause and think “maybe I shouldn’t…” about anything.
He has zero incentive to care about polling anymore. He doesn’t have to concern himself with getting reelected, and he knows that no matter what he says or does, even if he’s impeached he’ll never be removed that way.
Ok, who’s keeping count for us? How many “this will be the undoing of Trump” things are we up to since 2016?
Chat: haha govern-what??
I care about the robot. Thanks for asking!
Coffee tomes? Does it still work if they use the audiobook version?
My kid loves this movie! (I liked it, too.) she went back and got the books after seeing the movie.
