Have I mentioned I’m writing? I’m writing.

Coltrane’s A Love Supreme just popped up on the playlist, and I’m thinking yes, I’ve had a love supreme, and may yet again experience it, whether with a person or the Universe at large, I’m here.

After a loved one died early this year, I understood that I would be going on living, and to do that, I needed to find joy. And I did recently, in a single, glorious eternal moment of a hug, and the scent of another’s hair. Inklings of relationships opening, whoever it may be with.

Getting some writing in before No Kings on Saturday. Also taking a free introductory Barre class, b/c trying something new, getting some exercise accountability, and being with people bring me joy.

Guess who got to do a little unboxing tonight :)

I was having a hard time getting into the voice of a new character, when I ran across a blank book that just grabbed me. I purchased it, and it became the diary of my main character in my novella, Live Update, published Sep 2022, Issue 192 of Clarkesworld.
