This is an opinion article and not much substance - more a lament about Carney keeping the status quo. I do think it's quick to judge here as I think some of the ground work is being set out to switch.But it takes a lot of money too so I can see why we are not shooting the cash cow yet.

NDP needs some sound leadership to help them now that Jagmeet Singh has stepped down. They might be overplaying their hand - toppling the Gov will make them weaker. As an NDP supporter this looks bad. Hope they channel Layton and get back some sense.

This is dangerous wishful thinking and tries to normalize Canada's annexation.Our Prime Minister is to be admired and has a difficult job but he is and will remain Canadian. It will take more than one man to reconcile the deep divisions in the US and that is for US to come to terms with and decide.
