far from jazz, but new Skee Mask EP is pretty awesome

when I heard them for the first time I was cycling and almost broke the sound barrier

the last three tracks are FIRE

witnessed something similar when summiting Teide

I said this before and I’ll say it again - an absolute banger, „The Whistling Dust” in particular; this album will make my „the best of 2020s” list if I ever make one

and in such company, wow!

a few days ago I saw someone here saying that "Oversteps" is their favourite, so I guess it's becoming mainstream! it has a special place in my heart, because I started listening to them in 2010, but currently I think I would say that "SIGN" is my favourite... the last track is sooo beautiful

I totally agree with the shitty headphones part, but I do appreciate people striving for high fidelity - I’ve just seen some people who neglected music and went all in with the gear, hence all this grumpiness

absolutely nothing, my point is that things are getting a bit out of hand if you care more about gear than music (and at the same time you claim you are a huge music fan), IMHO

definitely not my favorite, but I discovered them in 2010 so still feels kinda important

can you give some examples? I thought they just listen to „Wish You Were Jere” and „Take Five” over and over, and instead of music they change gear
