We were trying to confirm the precens of DMT in the brain and in particularly in serotonin neurons.
But to our surprice, DMT is neither in the brain or taken up by serotonin nerve terminals!

Thanks, this is actually a semi awake approach. Where 18F-FDG is taken up while the animal is awake and freely moving in their home cage. Then sedated and we take a snapshot of the accumulated activity.
But anyways I would love to hear about your awake head fixation as well. After new years 😉
