I did the favorite game thing last year. I can’t just choose.
Mario Galaxy Movie is starting to feel like latter films in cartoon franchises like Toy Story where the cast has accumulated so many characters over the years and each one needs to be in this new one and have lines and suddenly you realize Bonnie has like 57 toys talking to each other.
Happy birthday Conker! Have a pint but not too many.
I can wax poetic about this game further, maybe I will.
I love the inane stakes of the story, I love how the world is a hateful fairy tale, I love the odd bits of horror, and I love how it ends bitter and sad.
Happy 25th to Conker’s Bad Fur Day, one of my favorite games ever. I admire late 90s Rare’s ability to look at their platformers, see they were making another one and just saying “fuck it there’s poop and blood everywhere now.”

Starting high school in the turn of the millennium was interesting in that children’s media that is now universally beloved like SpongeBob and Pokemon you wouldn’t dare admit you liked.
Never played Fire Red or Leaf Green. I completely skipped Gen 3. It came out at a time when I had “outgrown” Pokémon, before I went “who the hell am I kidding?”
I was thinking about that Calvin and Hobbes story where Calvin finds a dying raccoon. It’s a touching series of comics that also happens to begin with Calvin launching himself into the air.

Got to credits in RE9! I loved it through and through but I think the first act is the strongest. I’d explain more but I don’t wanna spoil things. Highly recommended though I don’t think there’s anybody really on the fence about this one.
Dino nuggets bum me out because I should be having a blast but nuggets you get from the grocery have this weird chemical taste that I can’t stand.
