Agreed. Conference papers definitely. Editing a manuscript for βfreeβ, fine. But if editing ends up with rewriting sections then you could potentially justify being an author and thatβs where I think the inequity increases

This is interesting but Iβm wary of a buddying system as it is a way that native English speakers with many papers get even more. Akin to junior researchers having to put someone senior (usually male) on a grant application to prove track record
A question for policy makers and healthcare commissioners: given obesity and depression are closely linked, why do we treat them separately? Why donβt we start with person-centred approach to discover strengths and build motivation for self care?
