It's just if they pique my interest based on what I know about them, is all. Ribbit is amazing, and Undertale 2 I don't really care for. Apparently it's another one of those games that gets good later on, but I don't feel like sitting through all that. It plays too much like a generic RPG Maker game

I also feel like there's a similar issue with character mods feeling like you're fighting the controls and movement more than the level design. The amount of videos where the player is trying to get out of a long animation or action, or is just bouncing around..
"Let's add thing that clearly didn't work in the final game into my mod!" And the result is that it's clunky as hell and, of course, doesn't work
