A long pathway climbs several sets of stairs to reach a large platform with an old stone throne. Fog shrouds the depths of the chamber, concealing the bottom of the abyss. A winged statue rises from the murk to tower over the platform. A pair of bridges arch to higher platforms in the corner of the chamber, massive holes blasted into them. The left cave is covered in spiderwebs that span the wall and cling to the winged statue.

I have spent most of Jan working at break neck speed on both the Setting Compedium and the Megaregion map for Ember but I've just had a truly wonderful relaxing weekend 😊 looking forward to doing some remaining bits next week for Alpha!

Ember World Map, Focused on the city of Ordain
It's a lovely chill Sunday afternoon and Ive slowly been adding details to the Ember world map! It's like adding a straw to a mountain to increase its height.. sure it makes a difference, but it seems like I'm barely making a dent!

Yea I think another drive just for backups is a very good idea!
It's going to slow me down a little bit, but implementing a thorough backup process is now a critical priority for my mental health >.<
So I just utterly panicked, the massive file for the Megaregion of Ember corrupted and the last backup was months ago. I would have lost so much work.. 😨
Thankfully Atropos (Andrew) was able to download the version on their PC and save it. Thank fuck. Crisis averted..
