Bluesky is the new science Twitter, new study by @whysharksmatter.bsky.social and Julia Wester concludes!
"Results show that for every reported professional benefit that scientists once gained from Twitter, scientists can now gain that benefit more effectively on Bluesky than on Twitter."
The new Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution (ISP-CWP) will provide the world with the science and data we need to:

✅ Ensure the sound management of chemicals
✅ Manage waste better

Devastated

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
We can either invest into nature’s destruction or power its recovery.
The new @unep.org State of Finance for Nature report shows that for every $1 the world invests in protecting nature, it spends $30 destroying it.

Så trist
We keep a tally in our section of 50+ people of published papers in the last month and one author gives a short account of the contents of the published paper. But no bubbles or cake for this. We publish 60-70 papers a year.
I think there are many levels of celebrating. Starting with just a glass of wine to round of a day where you have accomplished one of the items on your list, to getting the whole research group or larger units together, applauding and giving cheers in meetings.
