Wow. Stunning. What a treat.
I can only imagine your garden. What a lovely respite, it must be.
Your spring has really sprung. Thank you for sharing it.
Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing them.
What a great catch!
Thats very cool. I did not know that. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoyed seeing lichen probably because I was walking in nature, one of my favorite things.
A picture of a woman, me, with brown eyes natural make up smiling with a pinkish brown lipstick. Shown is one ear wearing an earring with a brown and concrete colored Celtic pattern on it. The womanβs dark brown hair shows some Gray hairs coming through. The bottom portion shows the following words written over the bottom of her face and throat: coming home after Vienna: sometimes the real discoveries appear after we return home. The next line says The Modern Journeyer, the title of her Substack. The line after that reveals the link: amandamottornartist.substack.com Note: posts are available in the audio version for people who prefer or need to listen as well as a written version. Usually there are images. This time I did Not include any.
Yesterday I wrote about the transition of coming home from a big trip. In the quiet is when the discoveries come. #travel #creativelife
I thought this was a painting. Or is it?
Fun! Love the color combos youβre creating.
I like seeing lichen when Iβm outside. It makes me happy.
Thank you!
Very pretty.
My pleasure.

A beautiful picture of the turquoise water of the Keys, flowing by as the sun sets in the background, adding a pop of color to all that beautiful blue water, my Nirvana.

The turquoise water surrounding the Keys is captured so perfectly in this shot, gently flowing by as the sun sets in the background. Nothing spells calm, like gentle waves. ππ¬

Bloomed flowers. Maybe zinnias like a the ones that came up in my motherβs garden. A red-orange corner of one in the corner. A big purple one with an orange center in the center a turquoise one in the left bottom corner with an orange-red center. The top of a green one just the pedals at the bottom center a purple one with a yellowish orange center in the bottom, right. In the top right an orange red one with a brown between all the color is yellow. Whether itβs pedals or just a yellow background, you get to decide.
The crocuses, the crocuses are coming. Or is that croci like cacti? This is one of my few flower paintings Iβve ever done. Pretend itβs one of my many crocuses, however you say it. Could you see this painting on your wall? #eastcoastkin #happypaintngs #flowerpaintings #blooming

There was only seeingβ
The open,
unbounded,
belonging to no oneβ¦
A clarity without a center, a presence without a name, vast as the sky the mirrors had once forgotten.
Silence began to breathe in the narrow spaces between ideas.
The blue in between white and gray.

My photo of a white Azalea bloom from one of my shrubs this morning. Catching more sunlight.
"In the springtime, the heart regrows hope." New spring bloom from my white azalea shrub, taking in morning sunlight. Enjoy, it's Friday and the weekend has arrived. π±πΏπ #Springtime #quotes #FlowerReport #FlowersonFriday #bloomscrolling #EastCoastKin #PhotographersofBluesky #Photography

Engaging with a new environment β even temporarily β increases cognitive flexibility and enhances our ability to absorb new information. These benefits are linked to changes in dopamine signaling and brain wave patterns, which support our brainβs capacity to reset, recharge, and rewire. I will assume that since you are looking at this on your phone or laptop, that you need some green therapy desperately, so I've shared an image of a Mother Mule Deer and her fawns moving up trail along a dry creek bed through tall golden grasses with colorful foliage painting the surrounding trees. Zen for the eyes.
π Neuroscientific research has shown that a change of scenery can have powerful effects on the brain. Novel environments β especially natural ones β stimulate the brainβs learning and memory centers. Cont. in Alt Text*

Photo looking out over a wet and muddy field with a few trees and Lake Michigan beyond. There's a cloudy sky reflecting some pink from a sunset in the opposite direction and near the center a near vertical stroke of pink where a rainbow started to form.
It tried to rainbow on the south side right as the bright pink sunset peaked, reflecting off of the storm clouds to the east over the lake. Almost!
