I am the complete opposite. I tend to create my settings top down and then zoom in on the points of interests. Its quite a bit of work, but then i have a strong framework for improvising without breaking setting assumptions or rules.

There is not a lot that is more soulful than a hand drawn map with colored pencils. ❤️

Cant wait for the continuation of the series. The world building is incredible. Loving the vibe of industrial revolution powered by magic. Especially since some settings seem to be in perpetual stasis despite arcane power being cheap and available. At least if there is no explanation for it.
