Have you ever seen the Amazonian Royal Flycatcher? One of my favourite birds to catch in the net. This one we ringed Guyana. The crest is rarely seen, only used in courtship and for confusing predators!

Nagarjunasagar Srisailam is India’s largest tiger reserve but very little known internationally in comparison to the more famous, smaller reserves. 87 tigers stalk this utterly new place, alongside sloth bears, leopards, dholes, and many other icons. Just back from a camera trapping expedition here.
