Jellyfish design in pink purple and blues sewn onto grey trousers
Today I've been spending my day off work stitching a jellyfish on my son's trousers! #jellyfish
Today I learned that my son (age 11) thinks croutons are a type of raisin. I did explain, after I'd stopped laughing.

Kitchen with cream cupboard doors, turquoise tiles, yellow painted walls and maroon oven.
Just had some fantastic tiling done to finish off our kitchen. Original #1950s English Rose units, custom made hatch and worktops.
I have a Unicorn of the week certificate which my son awarded me. I'm sure he'd award it to you next week in exchange for a PokΓ©mon card π
I'm not a spokesperson, but I can give my personal opinion. More renewables are generally a good thing and something I would usually be supportive of, though it's obviously important to look at detailed plans for any project. What would you think about it?
Hope is a starting point. It's why I'm also a member of our local Green Party and get involved in helping out where I can. I've also helped to write the Green Party policy for heritage and tourism, as I agree that solid evidence based policy is vital too.
I choose hope.

Which Parties Support Lifting Two Child Benefit Cap? Greens- YES Reform UK- NOPE Labour- 2 YEARS TOO LATE Conservatives-- NOPE
It's taken Labour nearly two years to scrap the two child benefit cap keeping 500,000 children in poverty. Reform and Tory MPs plan to vote against it.
Ending the scandal of child poverty harming 1/3rd of children demands more action- including free school meals for all.
Interesting!

Jar of picked chili on top of a tub still full of vicious spicy things
Pickled chillies, grown in my Dad's greenhouse. I spent yesterday evening chopping and prepping, then had a sudden wake up this morning when I rubbed sleep from my eye, still had chili on hands even after much cleaning! #chili #chillies

Overton window has been obliterated

A fantastic project, I really enjoyed working with Tinashe and Robin as one of the project mentors. Their Deans award was very well deserved.
Egyptian style mummy made from scrap paper, wrapped in masking tape bandages, with two eyes showing. On a white plinth.
Thanks @sainsburycentre.bsky.social. It was our first visit today and we were really impressed. Thought provoking exhibitions, and excellent children's activities. Apologies for my son using almost all the masking tape to make a 3d model of Pa-sheri from @derbymuseums.bsky.social...

A new report shows the USβs super-rich are burning through carbon emissions at 4,000 times the speed of the worldβs poorest 10%.
Some would have you believe climate action has to cost you money. They're lying.
Tax the polluters. Tax the super-rich.
