Indie retailers like Riverwards produce in Philly do a good job educating customers and introducing new varieties. Glad they interviewed Ben wenk! He’s a great farmer + person.
Great article. I sell a lot of PA grown apples and we see a big gap between wants of chefs / bakers and retail consumers. Chefs are more amenable to using heirloom + new varieties (cosmic crisp, crimson crisp, etc) whereas retail customers expect ‘known’ varieties and cosmetic uniformity.

I switched from Spotify to Tidal and love it. They offer better sound quality, pay artists more, and have the same selection of artists. I was most worried about losing playlists but it was easy to transfer those over.
