Cake for breakfast - a shocker! π
That would have me reaching for the βοΈ to get through it!
I just grabbed a snap out on my ride. I might have got a clearer image had I tried resting the phone on a wall or something.
Nice bit oβ moon tonight.

I wondered what the clicking was. Both pedals had broken in the same way, pretty much at the same time!

Good tip to protect the rim! π
Okay thanks. Was wondering (wondrering? π) if youβd come across that situation.
Thanks! Its quite the motivation to get my backside off the sofa. π
I looked round a new Didcot estate today. When I got there, extra roads had been built, so, dilemma; do them and hope Wandrer shows blue once their map updates? Or not bother 'cos i'll have to go back anyway? AI response suggests former.
Any thoughts? In the end I did them, its all good exercise! π
The sun and the moon and the pothole!
Last day of Feb and enjoying a glass of port after another alcohol-free month. π·
I've also managed to ride every day: 3 short stints on the trainer and a modest 330km on the bikes. π΄ββοΈ
I'll see if I can keep the streak going for another month! π

Me and my boy went to the Imperial War Museum today. Spent a good 2hrs mooching about and found thisβ¦
Itβs a 1940 prototype #Zwift trainer. The electronics required to integrate with a headset were clearly at an early stage of developmentβ¦ π

Assume you went up β¬οΈ then! π
For me thatβs in the βvery challenging but do-ableβ category. Not done it for a few years - I must have a go with my new βgrandad gearsβ chainset.
Ooh Soxon! Enjoy the ride. Looks like youβve picked a decent day for it. π
Rather than maths, I think βHell hath no fury like a woman scornedβ covers all bases! π
Weβve all got Lenovos where I am and they are pretty good. I have a bit of a reputation for being aβ¦.errrβ¦βheavy typerββ¦and they seem to keep going! π
Thankfully we arenβt expected to use two at once! π
Will be interesting to see to see how you get on with them longer term.
Thatβs interesting, thanks π
Worth a go to avoid the tubeless faff!
Thatβs quite a saving in weight! Are there any downsides to using them? Do you need special patches or is it just βfree lightnessβ?
Fabulous - that's a place I want to cycle one day. Also Hest Bank.
Hereβs how it ended up!
If I can find some magic Teflon paint iβll let you know! Meanwhile, time to get the hose outβ¦

Out on the mean streets of Didcot this evening, bagging some cul-de-sacs.
This is what I have become! π

So itβs a day of eating, with some cycling bolted on! π
Coffee at the Blue Tin then lunch at the Cheese Shed - two for one!
Itβs a nice place to stop. I think I prefer the Cheese Shed at Nettlebed though.
The climb up Bix Old Road, then across to Highmoor on the estate road was new, as was Twyford to Henley. Managed to do some other short sections - a nice change from Didcot cul-de-sacs! π
β¦and hopefully your dog isnβt too poorly?
I donβt think the pix show just how much mud I was carrying around at the end - the bike was pretty grotty! Needs a good wash and lube before the next ride.
Hope you get out for a ride soon - I know the feeling of βdomestic dutiesβ taking priority!
