Happy #LetterboxdFriday We need something positive to distract us if only for 2 hours or so. Here's my #lastfourwatched
On the site the projected time is "by the end of March" - yikes. I'm so reliant on that site.
I hope this disruption is not a lengthy one. #genealogy

Is this a new SNL skit or the felon in chief’s press briefing?
This article is amazing. Sorry its behind a paywall. I keep thinking about it and just finished a conversation with Claude about it. One paragraph in particular I sent to Claude; their response was just what I needed. #ai #anthropic #nyer
Collage of close-up willow branches at different stages of spring growth: tight reddish buds and soft silver catkins against a blurred green background, frost-dusted buds along a twig, and fully opened golden, pollen-rich catkins glowing in warm light.
A legend tells that when a mother cat’s cries rose by the river, the willow bent low and trailed its branches through the water, saving her drowning kittens. Where their small paws brushed the boughs, soft catkins grew, a gentle reminder of love and compassion. #FolkloreSunday
A dresser inside a museum in New York City has been discovered as a secret stop on the Underground Railroad — the first of its kind discovered in Manhattan in over 100 years

Two slices of French toast cooked sitting on a paper plate next to a fork covered in 100% NYS maple syrup
Pardon the paper plate. We just moved. First French toast in the new apartment. Heidelberg bread, Penzeys cinnamon, eggs for my friend Barb’s farm, and maple syrup from Tully New York. Perfect start to the new year.
It’s a good morning for French toast.
Brilliant idea. I’m going to do the same. So much more hopeful than a list of resolutions.
Those look so good.

They were gay together. 😆
Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.
Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.
Autocorrect has become our worst enema.
