Yes it's a very clever idea!
Of course joking, sorry I should have added a smiley!
I love what you/eLife is doing to innovate with online content. Are people adopting it? I remember you introduced embedded interactive figures but are authors using that?
I love this idea Tim.
What's your view on introducing PromoPlots?

Thread of French and Dutch research institutes slowly unsubscribing from web of science (and thence impact factors).
Very excited about this! I was waiting until we finished the online practicals and road-tested them at a workshop before posting here. If you're not sure what to read over xmas... :)
Tim I think it was almost 20 years ago when I heard you said that's how you review a paper!

We're proud to introduce the 2025/25 cohort of OxCIN Global Scholars! They will be remotely affiliated with OxCIN for a year, participate in our MRI Graduate Programme, present their work and establish links with OxCIN research groups.

What an absolutely extraordinary milestone. Congrats @fmrib-steve.bsky.social @fmrib-karla.bsky.social and everyone else involved.

Shouldn't that be NaN? @wimbledonltc.bsky.social
The rest is entertainment
Woof!
Maybe it was a mistake and I shouldn't have changed the eLife summary, but isn't it lovely that this all out in the open?
PS: @behrenstimb.bsky.social I don't find your laptop at the restaurant excuse to be very "convincing".
The strength of evidence was upgraded after the author sent a rebuttal. I am not sure if that rebuttal is included online? I will admit it was me who caved here. I gave the authors the benefit of a doubt. I would have liked to see code to be really convinced, but authors claim it's patent protected.
The OxCIN Global Scholars programme offers a year of remote MRI training and collaboration for early-career researchers from the Global South. Apply by June 30th to join the 2025/26 cohort. Please repost!

Thank you!
Sure. But sometimes (not often enough) an article is about ideas, not code/data.

Ah sorry, I thought CCV was a typo, it was a dig at the reviewer 🙂
Poor Chantal :(.
I hope you are well Siri!!
By CV you mean your CCV right?
Incredibly flexible simulator brought to you by the talented @michielcottaar.bsky.social. Can feed arbitrary sequences (e.g. with pulseq) and model lots of microstructure features (diffusion, permeability, susceptibility, MT). Allows multimodal simulations. Fully documented and open. :)
