Purple is the worst! To this day, we still have not found a vibrant purple that applies with even colour distribution or without showing brushstrokes… but we’re not giving up! Anytime we hear of a new purple on the market we always give it a shot. Would you say this is this ambitious or fool hearty?
I’m not sure we can officially call ourselves experts, but we’ve had plenty of practice testing mugs—and we can confidently say that drinks DO taste better in a handmade mug!

Bisque firing is the first kiln step! After air drying, our mugs go into a super-hot oven to burn out moisture and harden the clay. It’s like baking—turning mud into something solid and ready for glaze. Any questions about this step?
