OK, first thing: I'm gonna write down all the monsters and 'DCC' them. I mean, REALLY turn up the weird here. The stats are obviously fine for OSE, but we need mysterious and dangerous.
I'm aiming for this to be a 3-5 session game.
I also need to rethink level drain. What else could they drain?

I did my best to make a reactive world and living world.
EG:
There's a nearby island infested with harpies.
They eventually dealt with them, I decided this opened up the trade routes between port Fortune and Lankhmar!
New boat ships, gentry, and trouble soon landed in the docks!
I made islands individual DCC modules.
One player said it was a 'Themepark of choice'.
Throw patrons and gods into the mix asking for unreasoable things- 'baby we got a stew going on'.
This is my favourite kind of module. Just enough to get you fired up, gaps to fill and things to delight them.
Why DCC thought Michael?!

The warrior's mighty deeds longs for the pirate life.
Thieves' luck die. Pirates get lucky sometime!
Critical hits, spellburning, and all happening during ship combat in the middle of whirlpool ?!
The system just allows fun!
OK why is this so fun? (And continue to be fun for 2 years)
-Mini megadungeon to explore (which is partly underwater, teeming with faction play)
-Sandbox of lonely sandbars, wild jungles and volcanic islands
-Adventure locations galore! Busy port town, forgotten temples, ship wrecks to loot!
My lovely players made me a mug and Tshirt (posted earlier!)

I decided to tab my #DCCRPG book!
I'm going to be so DCC organized!
It's 1:1 time and we use downtime rules. Players get to explore town, interact with NPCs and quest (all by text privately, outside of the game).
The focus of the game is dungeon crawling. I learnt from my b4 solo sessions, time and light is so important for the experience I want to give.
Next up (as you scroll across the same screen) is a map of the Barrows and the Barrowmaze itself.
More fantastic art, and a nice VTT map I found online. Many things here are under fog. But you're allowed, just for today.
The VTT map fogged makes it easy to keep track, and keep some tension.

Yeah, I assumed I had to do some maths too.
1)Player rolls for attack
2)Player reads THAC0 chart
3)Player informs REF what AC was hit.
That's it.
This has happened and yet Jam and Toast is cancelled.
Gutted.
Thoughts: I'm loving the procedures. Tracking light and time is so good. The game is deadly and side initiative is neat.

The party got VERY lucky with a random monster check- gnomes from the Lost City to check on their "latest contraption".
A very lucky reaction roll later and they showed them the way to the next tier!
Inspired by Scutifer_Mike I started a B4 solo run using OSE.
The cleric 'Korrin' has died to oil beetles (2HD!!). Our elf 'Indis' has befriended The Warrior Maidens (and charmed their leader).
This secured them food, water, and a burial for their good friend.
I didn't know I needed this!
