when my dad really died by SG Huerta Collage of typed lines, facebook comments, a Marine's eyes, SG and his dad's headstone, SG reading from Last Stop. The poem reads: In 2018 I wrote a poem entitled when my dad really dies. I think about my father's death too much. If i die, make my silly suicides notes Thinking of you <3 If I die, my fathers memory will listen-- who? Sending love you to <3 When my dad really dies, a dad cliche, what you gave me: Bipolar disorder (semi abstract) and insurmountable grief (full on abstraction) I'm lying dad(crossed out) Love you, thinking of and praying with you <3 I wrote more poems. Poetry and my grief. After a certain point, I'm nor sure that there is a difference. I need someone to blame-- , but that guy is gone.)
