Tried painting Planeptune lol

Animating in 2D has taught me just why a lot of anime resort to inflation being instant/obscured behind smoke whenever they do it, or why you don't see full rotations as often unless it's sideways or they use smear frames instead lol

Now that plenty of time has passed, I think I can genuinely say that Fa Fa Fuck is probably my favorite of the New Panty and Stocking episodes (barring episode 6 that's on its own level).

It's mainly because its message resonates well with me as an artist lol

I'm trying not to show off too many animation WIPs because I wanna stay motivated, but I feel like showing this one off since the final product is likely going to be way different anyways (in terms of pacing at least) lol

I wonder if my OC, Asami, ever felt any sense of dread after knowing her creator is going through the Yakuza series and thought "man, I'd love to have these sort of emotional moments with my OCs, especially 3."

The Balloon Gunner from Ryukendo shows up to Planeptune and starts inflating people, Neptune jumps straight to action to try to stop it, but she neglected to keep track of her weapons, so she attempted to stop it with a wooden sword (her weakest weapon). It went poorly.
