Caps have a really big 8 sized question mark going into the offseason but it doesn’t stop them from filling a few other holes they have. Top line winger and 4th line center are big needs. Not sure either comes from Hershey.
They’ll talk about how today will be the end of the Caps playoff chances. It isn’t. It was months ago when they couldn’t win back to back games. Not good enough this season.
Caps haven’t looked good. Maybe it’s a trade deadline hangover, but they look like the same team as earlier this season. Just not good enough.

Too many penalties this period by the Caps. That last one was pretty soft, though.

I’ll miss Carlson. He’s been such a good and consistent player for the Caps for so long. BUT, he’s a free agent in the summer. Wouldn’t be shocked if they tried to bring him back in July. That first round pick is just too hard to ignore.
Woke up to the Carlson news. Pretty crazy but a first round pick is hard to ignore. Caps have a lot of picks coming up. 22 in 3 years. But what they really have is trade capital. Look for them to try and make a big trade today or in the summer using some of these picks.

So much whining from Hurzeler. Your team lost. Is some time wasting, that everyone does, really the reason why? Crybaby.
It’s getting there. The season doesn’t appear to be in their hands anymore. They’ll need a lot of luck.
Caps really needed that one. Not good they didn’t get it. Last game before the deadline. Curious to see what they do, if anything, by Friday.

Much needed win for the Caps. Need to take as many points from teams in the division as possible.
Dominant display from Arsenal. Lost sight for a bit in the first half but otherwise they controlled the play and game. Showed Tottenham that North London is red!
