Hope you have a great well deserved break
Hope you have a great well deserved break
Looks super clean!
It's nice to have some letters after your name!
Yes she loved that series, no idea how I stumbled on it!
We've done all of those!! I'm glad I'm on the right lines. (The Heidi graphic novel by the same person made her cry)
Not Mallory Towers just yet, shes done St Clare's (which I always felt was slightly more junior). I will keep on the list for the future. Thank you
Thank you! Will add to list. (Eve if it's not quite right now it probably will be in 6mo as she's improving with peril!)
We enjoyed it on the way home on Weds. Excitingly they're recording near us on the 11th and I got permission from the 6yo's head teacher to pick her up an hour early to queue for seats for it!
Brill! Bad mermaids looks especially excellent
She loved the Ottoline, thank you I will look at the others. So tricky with the "age" thing when you can read really well when you're six (Jacqueline Wilson mostly not so good for this age โน๏ธ)
Yes! And there are so many of them. I think she is just having a moment ๐ฌ
Yes! She's going as RG for WBG. Haven't come across the others. Thank you!
@chaletfan.bsky.social are yours suitable for a girl this small?
@abbybarker.bsky.social @chaletfan.bsky.social any ideas please??
6yo "almost all the books are about BOYS saving something. I want books about GIRLS".
Recommendations please for strong girl characters (her reading age is far higher than 6) - Rainbow Grey was a big win
This is what the complete set of Rainbows interest badges looks like! Well done 6yo!
These new resources look great- with info and practical guidance for pregnant autistic people and professionals restraintreductionnetwork.org/resource/bos...
I've not read it for years!
I have that edition!
I'm glad you've been able to get going with it! So relaxing
Oh you have lovely older editions!
We have a playlist like that called Grace's party playlist which always cheers us up!
Have you read the rest of the series? The four storey mistake is my other favourite from it
I LOVED that as a teenager
How wonderful, well done Laura
Ooh I'm seeing Operation Mincemeat here in Oxford in a few weeks. Have high hopes!
I came back especially to check what the answer was!
Oh goodness, feel free to swap with us where even the SENIOR SCHOOL dress up. My least favourite day of the year ๐ซ โน๏ธ
Similarly as an autistic person, I just do not go now that I have a school aged child...although I can just about manage three hours in a small one in Devon. Too many people, too much waiting, too much overload.
Of course, it's a Boeing.
