This is not who we have to be. We don’t need to normalize hunger as the cost of doing business. We don’t have to become numb to this.

If these hypocrites ever cracked open a Bible, they’d know we’re not judged by our excess. We’re judged by how we treat those in need. The hungry. The poor. The stranger.

And worst of all? The people pushing this agenda are the first to tell you that America is the greatest country on earth.

We are watching an American oligarchy cement itself—brick by brick, budget by budget—paid for with the dignity of our most vulnerable.

This isn’t “fiscal responsibility.” It’s cruelty. It’s taking meals off the plates of kids to help someone already flying private buy another tax shelter.

So when lawmakers decide to cut SNAP benefits—taking food away from children, seniors, and working families—just to fund billionaire tax cuts and migrant crackdowns? That’s not just policy failure. That’s moral collapse

Because nourishment isn’t a luxury. It’s not a “nice to have.” It’s not a line item to debate. It’s life’s most basic human need.

I’m a big guy. I’ve never gone hungry. I’ve always had access to food—usually with more options than I needed. That kind of privilege shouldn’t blind us. It should drive us to act.

Food insecurity has always been a deeply personal issue for me. It’s been the focus of my charitable giving and something I care about deeply. This isn’t abstract—it’s real.
