A day late for #WorldBookDay but I’d like to sing the praises of Audio Books.
Tried them to encourage my Mum whose failing eyesight stopped her reading. We both love them. I put my headphones on and get my chores done while listening.
A Sting in The Tale was excellent, just started Rebirding.

There was sun this afternoon, took my dog for a nice headland walk. A Merlin flew past us, no camera but so great to see.

Sun streaming in the kitchen window this morning. The male Blackcap in the tree, and a glimpse (phone shot) of the Kingfisher on the way to work. A good day.

It’s Carex oshimenses ‘Evergold’ it’s an evergreen sedge.

I did wonder about that, and why the publication date kept moving. All very odd.
I can see that so much work has gone into the book, I hope that it doesn’t ruin it for her.

The male Blackcap came back this afternoon. Still a murky day, and still through the kitchen window, but I’m well happy with this shot. 🪶

I planted some Alder, Birch, Hawthorn, and Pines but other species were planted too.
