I find that to be a betrayal to you, me, and everyone in Gaza. So what do we want to do with that?
tldr im playing with a cyber aesthetic as some sort of personal exercise. And cuz it's cool.
If the idea that we will continue to fail against nonconsensual use of our biometrics, if we accept surveillance tools developed and deployed with impunity in the West Bank, then we effectually dissolve the brain cells that would allow us to imagine an alternative.
cyborg illustration of just the head
dystopian sci-fi entices us to accept a falsehood that a bleak future is inviolable.
It's been fun to play in the aesthetics of cyberpunk, a genre that loves to remind us that resistance will be met with severe repression. It's a partial truth-repression is here. But why accept that as endgame?
Me cheerily holding up a boxed Wacom Intuos Pro pen tablet. I am in a car wearing glasses and a blue rain jacket
the boxed intuos pro sitting on my desk with my hands holding the box. my vertical monitor is seen on the desk with a small mushroom lamp
the wacom intuos pro pen tablet unboxed on my desk
I was diligent in using my 2013 Wacom pen tablet for my tattoo designs last year. That tablet was old enough to go to high school!
Starting 2026 with a brand new pen tablet. This is me right after testing out a store display at the Wacom Experience in Burbank aka MACHollywood.
Thereβs something fishy about asking a populace to vote against election rigging. A glitch in the matrix has been discovered
The wolf as trans elder
the movie definitely does not pass the bechdel test. Itβs basically a political drama about a young cyborg girl who is barely sentient, but she has the power to blow everything up, and so she does.
A femme ish character with half their face broken off to reveal mechanic parts underneath. Black and grey digital illustration with halftones
I watched Metropolis (anime) and this is what happened

All sorts of people are calling for a boycott for all sorts of reasons, and I canβt help but yearn for a more direct way of addressing fascism than a single game boycott.
Ok so the english voice actor is genderfluid and antifascist, and one of the senior artists on this project hates Ch***** K***.
I like that.
I donβt like that SuckerPunch fired the artist (she made a tweet about the assassination)
I have the mx master 3, i think you need a new mouse
I donβt think voting with our dollars is working, guys
Someone inquired about my ethnicity. When told that I am Filipinx, in disbelief they gasped and said "stop!!"
And so I must inform you all: this will be my final day being Filipino.

I got really into cyberpunk only to find out that what I actually want is solarpunk. We are all tiiiiiiiiiiiiiired of the dystopia narrative. I want to dream the outcome of revolution.
Screen grab of the video game Ghost of Yotei, with the main character, Atsu, in white on a white horse with trees of white flowers in the background. atsu is covered in splatters of blood
Photo mode in Ghost of Yotei, what a fun game
If I were faster at illustration I would be UNSTOPPABLE but I am so slow that I am EASILY STOPPABLE. All you comic book artists out there- mad respect to your output!!
I just watched a talk by @sharangbiswas.bsky.social at Game Devs of Color. Really loved the information shared and Sharangβs creative voice. FYI Sharang- I just submitted a request for LA Public Library to carry your title!
@bsky.art
well β¦. at least the second part
I put so many hours into this piece just for an AI bot to hide it within seconds.
They say art is up to the viewerβs interpretation. Itβs cursed when the only viewer is an AI moderator.
The piece is an exercise in imagining our collective filipinx past with dignity. Humans are a part of the nature, and are in harmony with the natural world. We are supposed to respect the power and strength of crocodiles and alligators. They are not to be used against us to benefit yt supremacy!
Reclamation of our pre colonial belief systems, in a way that still honors living indigenous filipinos, is really important to me. A lot of the information of our history has been burned by the Spanish, so we must hang on to what we can and make it irresistible to others to preserve a sense of kapwa
Despite being revered in the Philippines, the colonizing Spanish came to the Philippines and attempted to completely alter the narrative around crocodiles, just like they did about other aspects of indigenous peoples entire belief systems that have been devastating in serious ways
Now I know crocodiles are not alligators. We all learned that in second grade, and we hope that with the current administration, future generations will have an education good enough to learn the differences, similarities, and significance of these special species.
I have seen posts circulating of racist, anti-Black illustrations of alligators terrorizing people, and now the creatures are being used to dissuade kidnapped immigrants from finding safety from the st8, all on indigenous land.
Now, in this torrential terror of a political climate, alligators are used as anti immigrant rhetoric. This is seen in the case of the construction of the βAlligator Alcatrazβ in the Everglades. The rhetoric is that alligators will be natural deterrents to those imprisoned from finding freedom.
The image is of a goddexx crocodile diwata with their crocodile kin.
They are in a state of rest in their oasis. Another crocodile is peacefully swimming up to join them.
Crocodiles are sacred in the Philippines. Ancestor to the living, guardians of the dead.

My work is so heavily censored on social media. Bsky flagged this for βnudityβ and for being βsxually suggestiveβ.
First off, I support erotic art and sx work, so I disagree with this being a problem.
Secondly, this piece is an illustration of a goddexx at rest, with clothes.π§΅
