the age thing is really hard because it makes me feel like I've "wasted" my time by not constantly improving. I don't feel competent compared to people who haven't even been at it as long as me.
I know comparison is the thief of joy or whatever but lord it is really hard not to compare my work to other people's lately. especially because I've not been drawing much at all in the past year. hurts real bad when the person I'm comparing myself to is way younger than me so I feel "behind."
