Delightful. Good job Mohammad indeed.

Wolverine apparently indoors, a background like the Danger Room or something is seen from head to waist from his right side as he lights a cigerate or something and says, "Maybe it's just the way o' the world that did it. Maybe the dream is DEAD. Maybe we should all stop pretendin' it ain't--" Thanks, Logan.
These guys are going "look, I invented a mind that is ok to enslave!"
Which means they *already think there are some minds that are ok to enslave*
And then you look at how they treat actual people and you're like "yeah that checks out, shithead"
Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM
Droll thing life is--that mysterious arrangement of merciless logic for a futile purpose. The most you can hope from it is some knowledge of yourself--that comes too late--a crop of unextinguishable regrets.
Joseph Conrad, laying down some hard truths.
(Heart of Darkness never not applies)
No shade to Viola Davis because sheβs absolutely amazing but I genuinely want Amanda Waller to look like this again.
In February's episode of Scotch & Comics, I ty to bring some lightness so I start with Jamie Delano's run on ANIMAL MAN, which was not the best idea. But I quickly correct that trajectory with Roger Langridge's THE MUPPET SHOW and Walt Simonson's THE MIGHTY THOR. Give it a shot! Or a full glass!
I posted a new, silly little crossword here: crosshare.org/everythingni...
I had an idea for a clue theme that was a little too ambitious for me to complete as smoothly as I envisioned, but I finished it anyway so other crossword puzzlers could enjoy it.

I find sewing mind-numbingly boring but this has been a "to-do" project for 2 years and I want to wear it this summer on the chilly Folk Fest evenings, so I had better get started. I have quality needles (so they won't bend) and a metal-topped thimble to protect my delicate healing fingertips.
My challenge for March is more of a full-month project: to sew patches on to my old Scout blanket. I have 41 patches in total, plus one deconstructed Scouts Canada sash; I'm going to start with the 11 that are currently pinned to the project and then try for as many as I can get done by March 31.
i wish people had the capacity to understand that the deconstruction of Christianity isnβt a stick to persuade the masses of believers of God that God doesnβt exist.
itβs to deconstruct the indoctrination of racism, misogynoir, transphobia, homophobia and pedophilia that drives capitalism.
One of the greatest moments in television history! I quote it sometimes: βDevin has fancy plans, and pants to match.β
"This whole industry fucking sucks and this little get-together you guys have here is like a private boys' club and it's a bunch of jackasses and jerks and fucking gangsters and crooks who've fucking stolen everything from a fucking artist. Telling the artist to come out here and tap dance.
Steve Miller's quote about being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 is the hardest shit. What a legend.
Iβll help!
An image of the Thing (Ben Grimm) dressed like Brad Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with a cigar in his hand.
Just realized it's been over a year since I showed off this commission I got from @rpace.bsky.social. He was raising money for a charity. I will never stop showing this off.
Hot dang!

Watching the first episode of 2020βs STARGIRL and hooooooo BOY is it not good. Best example of a completely confused tone: a slightly-mellow update of Hansonβs βMmmmbopβ plays as two teenage girls (one shot from below so as to give us a good angle of her curves) cry about one of them moving away.
I had a wild day and I've been quiet because it's been a bit overwhelming! We hit our goal and then some! There's still lots of time to help us get to our last stretch goal for our Trophy Anthology, featuring @premeemohamed.com and @quinnblackwell.bsky.social :D
I know that I sound like a broken record but I think once this society was ok with accepting mass covid deaths just to be able to eat at Applebees then all bets were off.
βReally? This shit *again*??
Me and @lincodega.com are a stretch goal for this. hope it hits. Itβs my folk horror tom bombadil incursion.
From the publisher that brings you Sprigs & Kindling (that's me!), in collaboration with @jesseross.com and @pemetawe.bsky.social comes a new anthology of one shot incursions for Trophy! Sign up to be notified of launch π www.kickstarter.com/projects/fir...
Bully stands in front of a poster that says "Don't be so hard on yourself."
Goodnight with love and comfort to all my wonderful friends, and remember your pal Bully the Little Stuffed Bull tells you

I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to
Editing a podcast and not only was I the most blitzed I've ever been by the end of an episode but I consistently misgendered the creator. Looks like February's episode is going to be a little shorter than I'd anticipated, but that's what happens when part of your process is "more whisky forever."
What weβve seen from Carney over the past year is that there is literally nothing β not the rule of law, not his word as PM (remember his betrayal of Elizabeth May?), not climate change β that he places above economic growth.
Tatjana Wood R.I.P. What an fabulous colourist she was. To take but her work on Swamp Thing: in what may just be the greatest monthly comic ever, her contribution was every bit the equal as that of her illustrious colleagues. And Swamp Thing was no easy book to colour. My cap is doffed with respect.
