Love Young Frankenstein. I 🥰 the scene where the parents are hearing about a dangerous monster on the loose while Frankenstein is outside pushing their child in the swing. They go upstairs to check on her just moments after she’s been swung so high she flys thru the window into her bed🤣🤣🤣
Good Saturday MJ and All. I had a bit of a bug yesterday so did very little. Out and about today and hope I’m not pushing it. I hate missing the hike with our dogs. Sunny and 50 sounds pretty nice. May make some whole wheat bread and chicken soup later.
It’s a beautiful cat, Melania wanted one, and I thought about it, could blame that smell in the Oval Office on the cat, but I really don’t like the creepy, crawly things…(pretty sure historical geography isn’t a strong point🙄)

One opened in my remote spot a few months ago. An improvement over the Family Dollar in selection and even quality, such as it is. Lots of dog and cat food, so that’s a big plus for us🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐈 Rural America go to, I guess. No fresh produce 🙄

Oh yeah. I love NM weather, just worry when it’s too dry. Seeing lots of deer looking for food, hope things green up for them soon.
We have the occasional mockingbird in the western highlands. The mountain bluebirds have returned this week. A poor lost cactus wren had been hanging around all winter. The lake is still semi full so lots of birds in the area.

Tonight’s menu sounds very comforting, with a bit of spring thrown in with the asparagus. Did you ever pick fresh asparagus as a child? It grew along the irrigation ditches in Grand Junction and I loved picking it, but since my mom cooked it into a slimy mess, ugh. Love it cook right.
Good Friday MJ and All. Although the NWS said 0% chance, this happened overnight. Just a dusting, but very welcome since it colder as well. High in the 40s today, 80 predicted in a week. Wackadoodle weather

😂Oz shredded a couple vet assistants before they banned him. One time I was at the kitchen sink that overlooked a pedestrian path and I heard a sudden “he bit me!” I ducked down quickly, coward that I am.☺️

Seems those Shahads are being a bit of a problem to Trump and his allies. Zelensky has stated that they'll share their expertise, on the condition that Trump's representatives come to #Ukraine for it. That's a smart move as it will show Trump's team what the Ukrainian people have to endure daily.
