The lads, in their younger days.
Our house is full of homemade and store bought cat toys. Many of them lost under the fridge and stove and couches. A busy cat is a happier cat.
Sweet!
Hmm, never considered that he opposed the written word, but itβs possible.
Captured his preyβthe hated ballpoint pen! Soon I will be rescuing it from his jaws.
Whiling away the afternoon
cats love finding interesting places to drink water, donβt they? A drippy faucet, dish in the sink, or some other spot is much better than a bowl on the floor.
These cup holders are not safe in any context. I canβt believe summer starts in March for you! I can barely take two months of it.
Itβs good to have a brother
Heated coffee cup holder.
We are lucky here in Seattle. Thereβs enough preserved land to support small populations of deer, coyotes, beavers (we are known as one of the beaveriest cities in the United States), raccoons and lots of other critters.
Still coming up with a plan. Donβt rush them!
Guest appearance: deer in the UW wetlands park. Also saw one of the resident beavers, but didnβt try to get a picβit seemed stressed by a dog being walked nearby. Maybe next time.
Please write if you know of any art galleries that need a cat. Mackers would like to apply.
He is champ of the snooze around here.
Lap-cat will not be denied!
Donβt make me laugh! Nobody keeps them off anything.

Mackers came in like an attention-seeking bulldozer. No stopping him.
Good takedowns and grappling.
Mackers is sitting on my to-do list, so sadly, I cant do anything else today!
Us too! Never gets old.
Ugh! Hope your neighborhood returns to normal soon
Tucked in for the night.
Yesterday was a very bad, no-good day. A scary excavator was digging a hole in the neighborβs backyard, the rain made a scary rattle on the skylight, and there was big scary thunder! Hoping for a better day today.
That pic looks over a stream and then a marsh at the UW horticulture center. In Seattle, we have water coming up from the ground and down from the sky.
Lovely. Mine were not as good, but got some afternoon light falling on the trees while a storm came in from the east.
Scuppers, looking well-composed and sophisticated. Which is not easy for him. (I say no more)
lol. Thatβs the truth. And to get a sprinterβs start, heβd dig in all 10 claws.
