Hope you enjoy it! This work builds on and was inspired by many Lowell lab alums, including @amdouglass.bsky.social, @mikekrashes.bsky.social, @augcsoup.bsky.social, Jon Resch, and many others in the field.
We discovered a population of neurons (PVH-Sim2) that rapidly activates AgRP “hunger neurons” when food is not present, and that is important for the long-term maintenance of energy balance. Plus plenty more!
Beyond delighted to finally share the main results of my years as a postdoc in the Lowell lab. This was a labour of love, with contributions from many fantastic colleagues, particularly my coauthor @lowensteined.bsky.social
