I’m mind blown. Even with the kindle/clicker setup like… how?? How do are they okay setting it down, clicking, continuing? Plus I’d lose my spot all the time since in my 20 years of crochet I haven’t mastered not looking at what I’m doing.

De-stashing my yarn. Probably 6 years of slowly collecting 🧶 here and I so far have separated over half out to “donate” to my friends. Will put anything they don’t take in a no-buy group first. I just know I can’t knit or crochet my way out of this.

An update on the crochet blanket I made my mom! Totally forgot to show it when I got pictures but she was STOKED and loves how long it was! And I was able to fix my little gremlin’s “addition” to it with a patch that matches her rug! Best part is the yarn 🧶 I chose matches her furniture perfectly!

Something I just learned:
If you add items to your Walmart delivery order, it does not adjust the tip!! I’ve been under-tipping every time I didn’t go with inHome and I’m MORTIFIED. I wish I could go back far enough and add more tips 🥲
Anyways Christmas doesn’t have to be “OMG THANK YOU 😁😆🤗” for every gift, “wow, this is nice 🙂” is what works for us and we’re happier and less tired not having to fake outward excitement in front of parents and siblings.
He unwrapped the fancy edition of the MCDM books he wanted to kickstart (a picture of them) because I made the pledge for him. I got the fancier version he wanted instead of the version he said he wanted to back. He was excited but his face didn’t show it.

My husband and I are both somewhere on some spectrum and neither shows much excitement. Today, I unwrapped an OONI - and a nicer one than I would have gotten myself! But my face didn’t show it. He still knew I liked it.
10 doughnut holes in 2 rows of five in a white box. The doughnut holes are neatly grouped in two of each flavor.
Kudos to the Dunkin employee that boxed my munchkins. I almost didn’t want to eat them, they’re so neatly packaged!

This ring set (size 5) on my pinky FINALLY fits again. My husband got them for me our first year together and I previously wore them on my ring finger - now a size 7.

One of my cats generates static electricity when we pet her. Doesn’t matter where she is when we do, but running your hand down the length of her back guarantees the next pet will start with a little zap.
The other kitty is immune to electricity.

Having a great time crocheting these mice for bag charms and ornaments for some coworkers!
It’s a great way to use up scrap yarn, too! Longer pieces go in the sweaters, shorter pieces are used as stuffing!

A very STINKY BABY decided she wanted to leave “creative feedback” on the blanket for my mom and ATE A HOLE IN IT.
She said “let me show grandma I love her” and ate some 🧶
Now I will need to fix the hole and crochet some cool mid-mod patch and fix it.

A colorful blanket spread across the back of a tan couch. The blanket is five colors, orange, yellow, white, light blue, and dark blue, winding back and forth to create the length of the blanket.
Not sure how well this shows the scale but this blanket nearly covers the length of the couch - a double recliner couch.
