And of course, the definition is immediately followed by an example of an art piece that challenges it. Art is hard to categorize!
One useful definition I've seen is "art that's drawn or rendered such that each individual pixel is prominent". So less about resolution, and more about the visual style
In other types of digital art, those individual pixels would usually blur together into larger lines and shapes
