Thats former Wisconsin Badger Camren Hunter!
This Queens/Central Arkansas ending has been incredible
The #Brewers will face White Sox RHP Shane Smith on Opening Day. Smith is the former Brewers prospect who was left unprotected in the Rule 5 draft following the 2024 season.
The first move of the offseason that I just dont get. Gotta hope he's much better next year if healthy
FIRST-ROUND PICK ANDREW FISCHER GOES YARD FOR TEAM ITALY ๐ฎ๐น
ANDREW FISCHER WBC HR ALERT!
I completely agree. Let those 5 have a full offseason at those spots. Go ahead and cross train the backups but these 5 should only practice at these spots
Gotta see what they do in FA but yea this is roughly what I think as well
Rhyan was pretty good as a center after moving there. I think there's a shot he gets even better with a full offseason to prep at the position. Not an All Pro or everything but I could certainly see him being an above average center
Go into next season with
Morgan-Banks-Rhyan-Belton-Tom
Hopefully bring back Kinnard and draft 2 OL for depth
Sean Rhyan coming back as the Packers starting Center. That always seemed like the most logical way things would play out and became more likely with how the center market had played out in recent days. I'm fine with it. He's not special but he's fine
In the 60s, an extra hour of sunlight, plus a full day of WBC games & 4 conference championships to be decided. Today is shaping up to be a pretty good day

The Badgers take out Purdue in Mackey! What a win!
Wasn't his DC but Gannon was on the Colts staff under Eberflus when Franklin was there
He is a really interesting pickup. On the surface he seems like just a plug & play vet LB but after looking into it more it seems he's the exact opposite
The more I think about Zaire Franklin the more I come away with this being a big swing with a high ceiling, but also real risk of him just being washed. If he plays like pre 2025 he would be a big upgrade for our defense. But if he's the 2025 version you likely won't find a worse starting LB.
Almost certainly
Packers also re-signed LBer/STer Nick Niemann per Bill Huber
Was Franklin's 2025 performance drop due to him getting older or a scheme change(or both)?
The Packers obviously believe it's because of the scheme change Indy underwent.
We likely won't know the answer until this fall/winter
Wooden wasn't very good as a DE and he was too small to play the nose in a 3-4.
The trade seems fine? Not earth shattering but Wooden wasn't a fit in Gannon's scheme. Franklin is entering his age 30 season and will have a $7 million cap hit next season. Green Bay needed a LB if they were planning on letting Quay walk. Just hope we get closer to the 2024 version of Franklin
Zaire Franklin was 2nd team All Pro in 2024. But was pretty bad in 2025.
Colby Wooden for Zaire Franklin
Franklin is your Quay replacement and a clear sign the Packers will likely be signing a DT or two
Marquette! It's been such a crappy season but what a high note to end it on. That was awesome
Center options are becoming limited before free agency even opens
Brice Turang goes 3/6, 2 2B, 4 RBI, & 2 SB's in Team USA's 15-5 win over Brazil
