We definitely have but hopefully finish strongly and the summer is what is critical for the club.

Yes! That's the technical limitations of the team that needs to improve. Ramsey played one pass late on which was stunning. We have to lift that quality in the team.

Yeah can't complain. Tired challenge. Hindsight let him have the shot. Less chance of scoring. Yes always a long shot but the score forces us to be positive, we're at our best when we're positive!

Reflections on last night #nufc
- the team is still playing for Howe
- energy and aggression is still our best approach
- Technical level needs to improve to move forward
- Ramsey was excellent and still more to give
- Tonali in possession still questions for me
- 120m strikers on the bench. Ouch!

It's football. We just need to be a bit smarter in these moments. Having said that we shouldn't be conceding from that position. Story of our season.

It was brainless football. We gifted them the equaliser.

Gordon should have just ran with it, instead of handing the possession back. Equally we should have managed that situation better. I guess tired minds make mistakes.

One last note on tonight, I think Yamal would have missed the second leg had he been booked for either the ridiculous pullback or the bodycheck on hall.
So if you're wondering why the ref decided not to book him whilst booking others for the same offences...

Hopefully that will motivate knowing what's ahead.

The schedule is going to ease up quite a bit as Arsenal v likely to be in next round FA cup so game will be moved to May. Three games in Six weeks #nufc

OLIVER HOLT: Fan anger at Newcastle should be aimed at Saudis not Howe If Newcastle lose to Barca, it won't be a surprise if fans start calling for the head of Eddie Howe, the best thing to have happened to the club since Sir Bobby Robson left more than 20 years ago.

Yes I feel dirty sharing this but it might be of interest #nufc

You're right but that's still a desire that is being propped up by the day to day reality of paying for it through oil. As Jordan says it's definitely impacting an already struggling economy.

Whilst far from the most important element of the Middle East conflict it will likely have an indirect impact on the club. Noises that the stadium has been deprioritised for now. #nufc

Alan Foggon asked my Mum out the night after they won it and she said no. What's the point ๐Ÿ˜œ.
Different times. The intensity of the game is off the charts to back then.

Totally. Looking forward to it and fitting reward for players and fans after a challenging season.
I'm also looking forward to the 3 week break!

Exactly that! We had that chat in the stadium and it was interesting the different perspectives. You could see us hit the wall physically and mentally.
Nowt as strange as folk!

Aye it's South, Northumberland for me. A joy to chill out there on a Saturday afternoon with a few cold beers.

We have to learn to sell players at their peak (not give away mind) and reinvest that money on property scouted players (not knee jerk purchases).
PIF need to either have a really good shit on the pot or leave. They seem to be "snapping on off" mid thrutch to me.

Phew... Done.

We've already had almost five years of the 'five year plan'.
I honestly divn't understand what the club are doing.
Flogging countless editions of kit and increasing ticket prices will only go so far to breach the gap.

I think we've been shite at accruing sponsors, selling legacy players, extending contracts, social media, loaning out the "bairns", giving said bairns a chance to prove themselves in the first team and (this season) buying players.

Couldn't agree more Ronan. Got told a couple of weeks back Stadium plans have been deprioritised for now. Hoping that things continue to move in the background but I will be watching with interest as they take more from my wallet next season!
