With a preliminary thank you to those who kept encouraging me to pull the book proposal together in the past few years and gave precious feedback/asked the good questions that made the project better, now on to the actual writing! :D

I am particularly excited that this will come out as a British Film Institute (BFI) book in the new British Cinema Series edited by the wonderful @britfilmmelanie.bsky.social and @davidforrest.bsky.social

Now that the proverbial ink has dried, I am very happy to say that I have signed a contract with @bloomsburybooksuk.bsky.social for my first monograph, "Screening East London: Gentrification in Film and Television”.
