Just completed my 27th orbit around the sun! Had a good weekend. Got some heavy almost-spring cleaning done and now my place has been overhauled. I may have an opportunity to do better videos in the near future 👀

Aaaand WE DID IT! 16L marathon, the main stretch is complete and my new personal record has been set. Now, I'm going to rest up and see how this settles.

String snaps scare me so much. My roommate has a cello and I don't dare touch a tuning key on it for fear of overtightening and having a string cut my arm off

Yeah, embouchure can only correct for so much. The slides are also all stuck pretty bad and the valves need some oiling.

It still works thankfully but to sound good it'll need some TLC.

Same with me and a tuba. I have one but it's so beat up. I rescued it from my high school when I left. It's just I don't have car-loan money to get it refurbished

12L! Record surpassed and about to be surpassed again. I'm the smallest I'm going to be for the rest of the night.

Finally hit 10L! Anything past this is a new record. Onwards to 12

Here we are at 8 litres! Going to rest up and let this settle. After that we keep going.

And that's just the first fill. After this all settles more I'm pushing to 16L

Forgot to post this the minute I started, but I'm starting an 8 litres fill tonight. Once that's done, tomorrow I do another 8. Then, if I have room, I do another 4.
