Anachronism has its place but this show is if anything more of a period piece than its predecessors, and while I think it has timeless qualities that means you would probably want a contemporary piece rather than a late 40's country song about working for the man - which, critically, he doesn't!
The anachronistic music choices in Knight of the Seven Kingdoms aren't working for anyone else either, right? Like, I was sold on the show from like 10 seconds after the GOT theme song gag and loved every minute of the last episode except the bafflingly scored bits at the beginning and end.
