Where do you love to read? Send a photo of yourself, a friend, or family member reading in a local Gettysburg businessβa coffee shop, restaurant, bar, or breweryβand send it to friends@adamslibrary.org. We will feature it in an upcoming post and tag the business.
Jeffrey, thank you for sharing this. My dad comes to me in my writing more than I expected. It's a blessing to have those moments with our parents. Much love, friend!
Delighted to have this story in Cleaver Magazine! And I really love the artwork!

Pleased to have a mini-story in Jelly Squid's Mini Squid issue and to share the page with other wonderful writers and an artist. It would be a delight if you would read my story and the others too. Thank you! www.jellysquid.site/mini-squid
A story I will think about for a long time. Such complexity in less than 1,000 words.
@pamavoledo.bsky.social, this is gorgeous! I do not remember seeing it in the groups we were in. Wonderful piece!
This short essay by Melanie Ritzenthaler is perfection.

This poem took hold of me and did not let go.
Finishing up my first Smokelong Summer, glad for the wild writing ride with other writers. The @smokelong.bsky.social editors guided, prompted, and supported us every step of the way. Now I have a pile of flash to polish and send forth.
Beyond delighted to see my poem in the pages of Rattle.

@barrelhouse.bsky.social, thanks for an amazing conference. The session leaders were fabulous. The writers' panel was awesome. And it was so much fun to be among writers.
And what if you have an amazing supportive writing workshop led by an incredible, generous writer that meets weekly? And you treat yourself to good lotion and make your own blueberry scones? Thankful for your mentorship, @beekaekae.bsky.social
Congratulations! So proud of you!
Your story grabbed hold of me and would not let go. I'm so glad it finally came together for you.
Either she wants to say nothing, or say too much.
Either her world keeps ending, or itβs always beginning.

Thanks to Dick Westheimer for this haunting poem that took me in. I could feel my breath slow.

Love this hybrid form. It is beautiful and terrifying.
I hate to put a heart on this because it is so heartless. I'm glad you are covering this administration though. Thank you.
