The new #Scrubs ... pretty good. I laughed entirely too long at the Todd at the start of episode 2. I just laughed again ... God damn this is a great cast. It really was/is one of the best shows on television. #eagle

The whole sequence is such an interesting choice. It seems absolutely perfect for O'Ren's character. I never would have thought to put an animated segment into a movie like that. The art style is great, too.

You know, having just watched that new sequence, I have to admit that I liked it better without it. The grenades took me out of it. A bag of grenades? Everyone died in that blast in the elevator. It was so unrealistic. I think it was better in the original edit.

These aren't Trump supporters. These are people with genuine concern for real failings in Gen AI. They are artist whose works are being used without their consent to feed an unstoppable machine. I get why they are upset. They disagree with me, it's okay that they do. We're having the conversation.

You're not going to get regulation any time soon. Nor will the tool go away. I accept your arguments against AI. I understand the position. I'm saying that I don't believe anyone is going to listen to that position now that the cats out of the bag. If it was all bad, it'd be easier.

You're missing the point of all this. We should never have made the bomb in the first place, because humans aren't responsible enough to properly manage their creation. It's already too late. Yes, we SHOULD dismantle all nuclear weapons. That will NEVER happen.

And I ... mostly agree with you. I think it has a place in art when that place is consented to by the artists whose works are used to feed it. The issue is that is wasn't consented to. It was fed first and forgiveness was asked for after the fact. I respect not forgiving those companies.
