FYI for folks at homeโthe gardens arenโt blocked off. Now that setupโs complete, the barriers are behind the food stands for health/safety reasons.
The area will stay open the rest of the day after lunch wraps up.

Sin importar si lo que haga GDC en ese espacio sea gratuito, ya ponerle enrejado y esas carpitas del orto lo hace sumamente en contra del espiritu

The original Scott Pilgrim game has a bit of a Jet Set Radio syndrome where everything about it is amazing ~except~ for the gameplay.
All classic Battletoads suffer from this too, but mostly due to its one-gimmick-per-level approach that honestly was always more miss than hit.

Small talk is also a vibe check in general. You don't really care about the weather, just want to see if they're cool.
At least in these groups you have the obvious talking point of "our kids" and other school shenanigans.
This is an exaggeration of course. There are a couple more nerds around too.
However what I find odd is that at times I have more common talking points with the moms than with the dads... you know, because of the sportsballs.

Straight up confession of both homophobia and willingly accepting to become irrelevant. While your mother company's most popular animation in decades (Frozen) has been read as coming out stories and so has the latest craze from a rival studio in Kpop Demon Hunters.
This is literally the only kind of warfare where the right targets get shot down AND have tangible positive results for civilians in harms way.
idk Iโve seen a bajillion kids movies where the kids parents die & let me tell you, having a convo with my kid about how anyone can die at any time & it doesnโt matter if theyโre someoneโs mom or dad is way harder than having a convo about how sometimes someone has two dads or whatever. And yet

It's amazing how that Apple tagline has been drifting away from actual Mac and iOS devices ever since Jobs died.

I think it's pretty important to understand that algorithmically-run platforms have long understood anger and argument drives much more engagement than just showing you stuff you like, and if you find yourself being made to despair at what a platform shows you, that is the system working as intended
